Because it is made of chipboard, it had the urge to pop open everytime I took my hands off of it, so I used twine to hold it shut. I poked one hole (look at photo 2 &3) to make a spot where it will stay at (and not fall off and get lost) and wrapped that a few times, then tied it into a bow shape.
I think this would make an adorable gift, along with a small pack of golfer's pencils, or twig pencils and didn't take a lot of time, total it was probably about 45 minutes, but that was learning as I was going, it would be much quicker to recreate this now!
I hope you've enjoyed this week of my projects! I'm planning to do another week of this soon! I've found it's nice to see how versatile something can be!
I hope you all have a great next week, and I am going to try to do some photography blogging from Maui!
